Occam Insight

Who we are

Occam Insight was founded in 2000 by Gerald Kreinczes, former Vice Chairman of Ammirati Puris Lintas, and is now a team of full and part time communications and research professionals.

We have all worked on both the agency and client side and so approach projects from a holistic background.

However, we recognise that we are not experts at everything. So, in addition to our staff, we have developed a business model based on ‘expert partnerships’ – bringing our clients best in class solutions in a number of different areas: from on-line qualitative and quantitative research to innovations consultancy.

What's in a name?

William of Occam (1284 – 1347) was a medieval philosopher who first came up with a rationale favouring simple solutions. His principle that “entities must not be multiplied beyond what is necessary” became known as Occam’s Razor.

We have always believed that simplicity in both strategy and communications is an advantage. So when it came to choosing a name for the company, who better to name it after than a medieval monk-philosopher with a razor-like mind and a nice simple name?
